Hello!
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2018 from the Rhode Island School of Design. I am currently growing my small business, Hot Fluff, while maintaining a modest painting practice! I was raised in Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas and now live in Newport, Rhode Island.
My process is grounded in material exploration. My work confronts the daily routines that both comfort and drain me. I try to find the humor in the ordinary.
Hot Fluff was created from my love of life-like miniatures. I hand make my earrings out of mixed mediums, such as polymer clay, resin, expanding foam and fine metal wire. I aim to capture the essence of an object and transform it into jewelry that is durable and lightweight.
My earrings are all unique - designed to spread joy! I love for my work to spark conversation and bring out peoples' personalities. Life's too short to take jewelry seriously! Check it out through the link below.
